Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer to join our team. In this important role, you will collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with all legal requirements. You will be responsible for recording and verifying transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing trial balances, and handling both Corporate (1120S) and Individual (1040) tax returns. The ideal candidate is someone with a background in Accounting, holds a degree (Associates or Bachelor's), and has a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities:

- Enter and track financial transactions accurately
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial data entered
- Prepare trial balance and financial reports
- Analyze budgets and other financial statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Complete necessary tax forms in a timely manner

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- QuickBooks Certified
- Previous experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or in a similar role
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other basic accounting software
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
