Job Title: AWS Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer


Location: Hartford, CT Hybrid


Job Type: Contract



Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible for consistent and automated deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and security compliance processes.
• Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Drive DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security tools into the CI/CD process.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.

Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Formation, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for IaC and configuration management.
• Experience implementing DevOps automation frameworks (CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automated testing).
• Solid understanding of AWS security principles, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS preferred).
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS-native tools).
